Hi. I have a Marshall oil fired ‘Aga’ type cooker, which also provides my hot water and central heating. I plan to use Nest to remotely control the hot water and heating and have been advised to use LWRF to control the cooker, as it will not often need to be controlled remotely. The issue is that I need to be able to override or advance the cooker, when required, without using the App, as we often let friends use the house.
My question is, can the LW920 boiler switch be used without being connected to the LWRF thermostat? Obviously, we don’t need the thermostat and just need to be able to switch the cooker on or off.
Any advice gratefully received.
