I made two sequences. One to turn my lights all off and one to turn them all on. They both work when I run them.

I tried to set a timer to turn them on and off at certain times. They will turn off when I program them to but for some reason won’t turn on. I’ve remade the timer several times and set it to every day. I know the sequence itself works.

Anybody else had problems like this?

    Jon.

PS – this is and was both before the end of October iPhone update and after it.

I had the same probem – sequence worked, timer did not. In the end, I reset everything and started again and it all worked.
    However!!!!

All my timers were working yesterday. Today, none have worked.

    Hour change issues?

I take that back – It’s sequences related to Dusk that have failed. Those ones with dusk have been delayed by an hour.

I’d guess that dusk has not moved, but the BST vs .GMT time that dusk happens has. i.e. an hour change issue.

    Maybe Andre.

I will wait until this evening. If they "fail" again, I will reset them and see if it picks up the new "dusk".

    That’s made my day. LOL

Sunset is 16:37 at Heathrow, so dusk is technically 30 minutes after that. Will know in the next hour or so…

What source do you use for Dusk?

Ok, the one light, on a plug, set for Dusk has just turned itself on.

Your definition of Dusk is Sun Set (Mine is 30 minutes after, but that comes from flying).

In 30 minutes we should start seeing the rest of the house light up….. Like a Halloween Pumkin *JOKE*.

Looks like this forum is still on BST – that or I have fallen through a hole in the fabric of time lost an hour more than everyone else…

Second light on – so all resolved. Seems it struggles with the first day of the BST/GMT switch, then sorts itself out.
