Ok, so I’ve found out that the dimmable sockets won’t work as switches for led Christmas tree lights – does anyone know if the plain on-off ones will work? I assume so (if it acts just as a switch) but thought I’d check here – I’d hoped the dimmers would work if I just used them as on-off but am wrong. Nothing in the documentation, either…..

The plain on/off ones will work fine – it’s how my tree currently lights up :-)

Yes standard plug in and replacement sockets work fine with Christmas tree lights as I have a few!

LWRF light switches in several rooms, WIFI Link, Energy Monitor, Socket x3 and multiple On/Off adapters. PIR controlling lights and doorbell utilising light feature. TRV's for heating. Relays for garden and outside lamps Linked with Amazon Alexa via a dot
