    Hello-

Has anyone found a range of non-LightwaveRF sockets which are close in appearance to LightwaveRF brushed steel switches? These are the closet that I can find so far: http://www.diy.com/departments/holder-13a-brushed-steel-switched-double-socket/176838_BQ.prd. They’re quite s good match in person. The plastic inserts are less black than they appear in the photo. But, I would prefer screwless sockets.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Ron

    Hi Ron,

I’ve been looking at the same and the guys at my local store have suggested the Hamilton Hartland Stainless Steel range: https://www.socketworld.co.uk/hartland-stainless-steel-double-socket-2322-p.asp. If I remember correctly, they also have screwless ones.

Thanks very much, sarren. I also found this range https://www.amazon.co.uk/AET-SL1GSOCBS-Screwless-Socket-Insert/dp/B017H8W7A8/, which is a good match. I ordered one to check. The black plastic insert is a tad darker than the plastic on the LightwaveRF switches, but I don’t think you’d notice unless they were installed right next to each other. The brushed steel is a near-perfect match.
