I’m relatively new to home automation, so I wanted to quickly sanity check something before committing to a particular system. I’ve got an unbranded security light which looks to be a clone of this daylight LED model. I’d like to be able to use this as a smart light, but obviously with a different use case to living room lights. I would like it to only trigger during particular times ie. when I am asleep or away. Is this feasible?

    Thanks in advance :)

Yes, using a LWRF relay, socket or plug-in. You need to double check the rating of the relay is fine for this light. You can then control when it comes on using the app on your mobile. You can also add a PIR into it so it comes on due to movement.
