I need to report the temperature of a room to a TRV, as the radiator and the TRV will be boxed in.
Lightwave say you can link a Home Thermostat to a Gen2 TRV and have the TRV on call for heat. Which is fine but I don’t want to a) spend £80 on a thermometer for the room or b) have something that someone can play with and mess up the heating.
Does anyone know of a way to link an alternative temperature sensor to a lightwave unit/TRV?
This does seem to be one of the areas the heating control is missing, especially as the TRVs simply get too hot sat next to some radiators.
