Totally OT, but I am looking forward to my new toy arriving and just wanted to share…

I decided to splash out on a new iMac – well, a refurbished one, but a new one for me! I’ve bought a current model 27″ 3.2Ghz quad core i5 with 16Gb of RAM and a 1TB Fusion Drive (1TB SATA HDD and 128Gb SSD combined). Being factory refurbished I saved a cool £300 on the retail price of a new one to the same spec which seems like a bit of a bargain to me :-)

Enjoy. I treated myself to a refurb iMac last year – i7 top spec with a big saving like yourself. Given they have all the same warranties and look as new, to me the refurb was a no brainer. The only difference is that they come in plain boxes.

Lightwave switches, sockets, PIRs, contact sensors, LED strips & relays. Running on RaspberryPi with Domoticz to incorporate RF temperature sensors & IP cams. Still running WiFi link alongside!
