With a traditional bathroom pull-switch, I’ve just got two wires attached at the switch. How would you wire a JSLW821 to control this?

    Many thanks.

JSLW821 needs a neutral connection. Your pull switch is probably just switching the live and has no neutral. You need to go back to the light fitting where there will be a neutral.

You need to think how you want this to work. I.e. is the pull switch still to be used / operational. If so then you have two options.
    a) Wire JSLW821 contacts in parallel with pull switch. This means turning pull switch on will always turn light on irrespective of relay. With pull switch off the relay then controls whether light is on/off.

    b) Wire JSLW821 contacts in series with pull switch. This means turning pull switch off will always turn light off irrespective of relay. With pull switch on the relay then controls whether light is on/off.

If the pull switch has a changeover contact then you can wire it so it behaves like a 2 way switch where changing either the relay or the pull switch changes the state of the lamp (on to off, or on to off)
