I am looking at making a external PIR trigger stuff on my LWRF system and the only way I can see this working is if I buy a window sensor contact and dismantle it and remove the glass contact off the board and solder on a pair of cables that will wire through the relay of the PIR.

I have not got the window contact yet but just wondered if anyone else has had a go at this?

Lightwave'd up to the max but not ventured into heating yet ?

Would be interested to hear any update to this subject.

I would like to use an ‘internet-connected relay’ of sorts to send an alert when my PIR is triggered for example.

The PIR security light has an extra output that goes 240v live when the PIR is triggered.

My idea would be to feed this to a relay/receiver/transmitter of some sort to generate/send a signal when it receives the 240v input.

Sort of like a Samsung SmartThing but instead of being triggered by a reed switch or motion sensor it can accept a 230v switched input to trigger & notify.

Does anyone know if there is a readymade device available that might achieve this please?

    Thanks & kind regards,
