I might hold off fitting the Siemens ‘lightwaveRF compatible’ doorbell i bought from B&Q in the new house then.
I never got it to work and from what I read, it was a misprint on the B&Q advertising in store. (paid a lot more than this too!)
So… “announced” a new product… sweepstake on what year it might be released, anyone? ;o)
I asked Jim at lwrf if there was any official news or details on this. He knew nothing about it.LightwaveRF for electrics, Harmony Home for gadgets, Nest for heating, and now toying with IFTTT
Jim is a big old fibber.
He should get a job working for fibaro hahaha…. no?…. ok then.
Look’s like the same unit Siemen’s have (probably made by LWRF) using the LWRF 433 protocol insteaddeveloper of BMS Link (http://linode.bmslink.co.uk). A cloud based Home Automation platform for LightwaveRF, Z-Wave, RFXCOM.
Hi all, no comment as to what year etc.
Just a happy new year to allGone in at the deep end and learning with RPI, RFX, Conrad, WiFi link, 5 PIRs, 5 Door sensors, 18 light switches, 22 sockets and 4 Mood controllers all running on Domoticz. Normal comment I get is, whats wrong with just turning on a switch....
