When logging into the community there is a link to special offers with various items with a ‘sale’ tag. Only thing is I can’t see how to actually buy any of the items. Am I suffering from GUI blindness and missing the ‘add to cart’ button?
If you are referring to the price comparison, sales are handled directly by the retailers. Click on the view product button to be taken directly to the product on their site. All click throughs are recognised and the retailer supports this site with a small commission on the sale.
Hi Chris, thanks for your reply. Before you get to the comparison page you get this page: http://lightwaverfcommunity.org.uk/shop/product-category/power/sockets/ showing lots of devices cheaper than on the comparison tab. It made me think the community were selling things. I’m about to buy 5 or 6 double sockets and thought I’d found a bit of a deal.
I need to do some work on the price comparison. The site pulls in the prices automatically, but one example where this us flawed is with the dimmers. Most of the true LightwaveRF sellers will now be selling the 400 series dimmers (or version 2 if you like). B&Q sell Siemens dimmers which are licensed and will still be the old 200 series which still work but perhaps aren’t as compatible as the 400 with LED lamps.
I should probably add some heating products too now…
